SOE holds Leadership Skills Seminar in cooperation with IEEE

Eng. Tariq Deemas, General Manager of SOE, welcomed guest speaker Dr. Kurt Richter from IEEE and presented him with the society’s trophy on the occasion of a “Development of Leadership Skills” seminar, organized by SOE – UAE in cooperation with IEEE.
The seminar, which drew a record attendance, was opened by Eng. Maryam Al Thani of IEEE. Dr. Richter’s presentation focused on leadership attributes and characteristics, the differences between leadership and management, and conflict management and resolution. The seminar was well received and the Society and IEEE look forward to continuing collaboration to support engineers in the UAE and promote best practices.
