University of Dubai in collaboration with the IEEE UAE Education Chapter organized the Digital Imaging Student Competition on Monday 22nd January 2018. The aim of the competition was to provide UAE’s high school students with an opportunity to develop and demonstrate their digital photography skills. The theme of the competition was “National Day Celebration 2017 at My School”. Seventy people from ten schools participated in the event.

A panel of digital imaging experts assessed the entries. Top three prizes were given out during an award ceremony. The competition was sponsored by the University of Dubai and the winners were:
