Women In Engineering UAE section executive committee hold its first meeting on 29th of April 2017. Dr. Boutheina Tlili – WIE UAE section chair has met with the members to introduce 2017 plans and to assign roles to the members. Attendees of the meeting were Eng. Soha Jawabreh, Eng. Balqees Al Daghar, Dr. Ehsan Jarrar, Dr. Sahar Idwan, Eng. Alia Sadawi and Eng. Sahar Sultan. Dr. Boutheina has allocated roles to the members in order to work on the events for this year. She assigned Eng. Balqees Al Dhagar the role of vice chair, Eng. Soha Jawabreh has been assigned to manage the social media channels of WIE – UAE Section as she is also the social media manager of IEEE and she is assigned the role of WIE secretary. Dr. Sahar Idwan and Dr. Ehsan Jarrar are the conferences liaise on, Eng. Sahar Sultan and Eng. Balqees Al Dhagar are the industry liaise on and Eng. Alia Sadawi will be helping Eng. Soha Jawabreh.
