The High-Voltage and Dielectric Materials (HVDM) laboratory is hosting the 5th annual High-Voltage and Power Systems research workshop on Monday 12 Feb 2018 at the ADRIC Visualisation Centre, KUST, Sas Al Nakhl campus, Abu Dhabi

This builds on the success of the previous events organized annually since 2014.

The workshop features up to 15 presentations covering a breadth of research topics within the scope of high-voltage engineering and applications, power systems, power electronics, grid integration of renewables and grounding. Designated speakers include international collaborators from Japanese universities, KUST faculty, researchers and from industry.

We anticipate an audience composed of researchers, faculty, students, engineers and technical managers working in the electrical energy sector.

Registration is free. However, attendants can send an early intention to attend by email to aibrahim@pi.ac.ae.

The final workshop schedule will be made available by mid-January 2018.
